Following the phenomenal success of the Hexmariner Mahjong 42 in collaboration with the guys at Behati which sold out in an incredible 3 minutes, we are thrilled to bring this iconic timepiece back—this time in a refined 39mm case size. Adding to the excitement, we are introducing a new Gold Bicolor variant to take the Chinese heritage to another level.
REVELOT x BEHATI
Embark on a cultural journey with the Limited Edition Revelot x Behati Hexmariner 39, a Chinese New Year Mahjong themed watch with only 118 pieces in silver variant and an additional 38 pieces in the Gold Bicolor variant made worldwide.
Since 2018, BEHATI has been pushing boundaries of traditional cultural wear of Malaysia, with innovative approach on contemporary traditional creations by Kel Wen. Known for the viral oversized traditional clothing, the brand creates traditional garments with a modern take on its construction and details.
The brand aims to move Malaysian culture forward with its multiracial identity as its roots. Blending all races of Malaysia into one, BEHATI creates a vision of marriage between cultures to signify unity, harmony and blessings.
THE CONCEPT
Drawing inspiration from the traditional game of Mahjong, the Hexmariner is fused with tradition and culture bringing you an excellent Chinese New Year companion for luck and prosperity.
The Hexmariner isn't just a watch; it's a celebration of tradition and artistry, making it the perfect accessory to usher in the Chinese New Year with both elegance and cultural significance.
HANDS & DIAL
Plated blue with a dash of Swiss Super-Luminova BGW9 grade A followed by lumed Chinese calligraphy numerics painted on the bone white enamel dial with a play of words on the lucky number 8 (發) which means wealth and at 12 resembling noon (中) and a green date window (白板) at 6PM. This 3 combinations on the dial will form the dragon tile set in a Mahjong game.
BEZEL
The Jade green unidirectional ceramic bezel are etched and lume-filled with the four types of wind 東,南,西 and 北 representing East, South, West, North which is also a wining combination in the game.
CASEBACK & BRACELET
And at last we have the red joker (飛) printed on the exhibition sapphire caseback for luck. The watch is equipped with the workhorse Seiko NH35 automatic movement and cased with 200M of water resistance.
The Hexmariner 39 Mahjong is available in 2 options for the bracelet, either a glide-lock clasp bracelet or a 5-hole micro-adjust milled clasp bracelet, both offering secure and comfortable fits. Both options feature a tapered strap width from 20mm to 18mm, providing a customized fit that complements the watch’s design and enhances overall wearability.
