MECADROMO
Introducing Revelot Mecadromo; a modern day meca-quartz chronograph with a touch of vintage notes. Since our childhood days, we at Revelot have always been a fan of motorsports, from the creation of the R8 vintage racer in 2018 and the Revelot Veloce in 2019, its about time for us to revisit our passion for racing. The Revelot Mecadromo will be a value packed monster with early bird prices starting from around USD189.
CASE & BEZEL
The Revelot Mecadromo features a 41.5mm industry standard 316L stainless steel case with an aluminum tachymeter bezel that serves as a nod to the 70's racing timepieces. The 22mm width multi-faceted lugs are bullhorn inspired with an angular twist with a mix of brush and polish finishes. Resting on top is a single domed sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating underneath packed in just 12.3mm thick.
DIAL & INDICES
Racing over to the dial, you may pick between an asphalt textured dial or a fully lumed dial surrounded by race flag styled chapter marker and swiss lume filled applied indices. The date wheel is white to mimic the number decals on race cars. Every Mecadromo is designed with racing themed colors in mind, drawing inspirations from famous racing liveries of our time.
DATE WINDOW
The date window, you’ll find a touch of nostalgia – its style is a direct nod to the vintage rally racing decal numbers famously displayed on classic rally cars with a white background and a custom typeface used on the numerics.
MINUTE MARKERS
The minute markers is designed to mimic the iconic checkered race flag used in motorsports, a symbol synonymous with the thrill and intensity of high-speed competition. This design choice not only adds to the watch’s visual appeal but also serves as a tribute to the victorious moments in racing history.
MOVEMENT
The SII (Seiko Instruments) caliber VK63 is a hybrid mechanical quartz (mechaquartz) movement. It combines quartz technology for the primary functions of the watch with a mechanical module to operate the chronograph. This caliber VK63 is produced by SII, also known as Hattori, TMI (Time Module Inc), or Seiko Instruments Inc.
LUME
The Mecadromo hands and indices are all filled with Swiss Super-Luminova BGW9 (blue glow). There will be 3 fully lumed dial variants, 2 with Swiss BGW9 and one with C3 that glows in bright radioactive green.
